Sport is unpredictable. The important moment can happen in a fraction of a second — a winning play, a moment of determination, the celebration after a result or the emotion on an athlete's face.

I photograph a variety of sporting events, including regular weekend coverage for The Leader newspaper, as well as sporting events and competitions by request.

From local club sport through to individual competitions and events, I aim to capture the action as it happens while also looking for the moments that tell the wider story of the day.
